Our History

1969 - Establishment of the Chatelaine salon by Louise Perreault, Maude's mother.

2009 - Maude takes over the hair salon following her mother's death. The salon experiences expansion and changes its name and location to become Concept Chatelaine, now located in the heart of downtown Victoriaville.

November 2018: Maude, Pascal, and MC launch the Concept C website in tribute to the Chatelaine salon. We ship our products from a space as large as an office, located in the basement of the hair salon.

October 2019: We open a branch in Trois-Rivières, which allows us to expand our shipping capacity and have a new storefront.

March 2020: The pandemic strikes, and our business experiences explosive growth. We rent a second space, then a third, but quickly run out of space. It is at this point that we begin strategic planning to define the next steps in our growth.

February 2021: Opening of the Concept C Salon in Trois-Rivières, a few months late due to the pandemic.

October 2022: Concept C moves to the old capital. We centralize our shipping operations and our headquarters to meet the growing demand of our customers.

July 2023: We open a new branch in Quebec City. And we don't hide from you that this won't be the last.
