Recommendations for use:

• Remove excess water and make sure your hair is towel dried before using.
• Slide the power button up to activate your Duet Style. After a few seconds, you will hear the fan speed up as the tool heats up to the optimal styling temperature for wet hair. Once the light stops flashing and the product beeps, it is ready to use.
• Divide hair into manageable 2-inch (5 cm) sections, no larger than the width of the plates.
• Take a section of hair and place the Duet Style close to the roots, hold for three seconds.
• Work your way down the hair towards the ends at a slow, steady pace. Repeat until hair is dry and move on to the next section, starting at the roots once again.
• Once all of your hair is completely dry, for an optional extra shine, activate the Shine Shot™ function by pressing the Shine Shot™ button for four seconds until you hear a beep (the Shine Shot™ function should only be used on dry hair). The fan will stop and the temperature of the plates will increase to ghd’s optimum styling temperature of 365°F. When the product beeps and the lights stop flashing, Shine Shot™ is ready. Your Duet Style can now be used as a regular flat iron.
• If you want to switch back from Shine Shot™ mode to wet-to-style mode, press and hold the Shine Shot™ button for two seconds. Your tool will beep as the plates cool and the fan will start. The “ready to use” sound will be heard when it is safe to use on wet hair.
